After fishing for the bream, I decided to start pre-baiting one of the areas that Dan and I found last year, to see could we temp some of the Rudd/roach hybrids. We decided to start with 30kg of ground bait the first knight and every night after for that week we through in 20kg. It sounds like a lot of pre- bait but between 2 it not,and most important if you want results that what you have to do. With a 130 kg of bait in, it was time to fish and hope that all the hard work will pay off. With all the rods set up and bait in the water it only took a few seconds after casting we were into small fat roach. With many roach or Rudd/roach landed up to a pound and a half it seemed it was only a matter of time before we were going to hit the big one.
