Sid with a Specimen roach Bream,
When you are deciding to go for large coarse fish like bream don’t forget your swim markers. Years ago when I was marking my baited up swim I used large pike floats but found at night are if there was strong wind or rain there were imposable to see so I decided to bye h-block markers and put reflected tape on them so I could see them at night as well with my head torch.
When dropping out your ground bait first make it into balls, small if you’re throwing them large if you are dropping them off a boat.
Rods I am now using are the 12ft big river Nan-Tec Barble rods I know I am fishing for bream but these Nan Tec Barble rods are strong enough to punch your feeder a good distance through the wind were other bream type rods would fail. They have a lovely playing action on small or large fish and so far i have no hook pulls.
